About the Qur’anic Arabic method
Qur’anic Arabic is classical Arabic as it unfolds in the Qur’an. Our method makes the revealed text the starting point of learning rather than its distant reward: from the very first lessons, you read real Qur’anic words and real verses. The vocabulary is drawn from Qur’anic roots, the grammar advances step by step, and the four skills — listening, reading, speaking and writing — are practiced together, supported by audio materials and self-correcting exercises. Volume 1 is organized into ten teaching units and two review units, and each unit closes with a dialogue devoted to the maqâsid, the essential Qur’anic purposes, so that language study leads into an understanding of the message. The only prerequisite is knowing the Arabic alphabet. The book is designed to work equally well for independent learners and for teachers looking for a ready-to-use classroom resource.
